My usual feedback for him doesn't pertain here since he didnt have to do the female characters, Stephanie did them all. It made me immersed in the story even more! Gregory has done the male voices for the other books in this world and I thought he did a phenomenal job in this one. In terms of the narration, I loved that Becca went with the male and female narrators doing their associated voices the whole time (not just swapping chapter to chapter).
I am excited to read about Xavier and Imogen in the next story from the high school crowd. I definitely didnt like Anastasia, but she grew on my by the end too. He brought more levity and heart to heart talks in this one that made my heart happy. He is a great character for all of the novels so far (best friend, brother, hot college guys haha). I thought Cass was hilarious in this one, helping make Carter jealous. Kian and Preston are still probably one of my favorite couples of Becca's but I think Cass and his leading lady will in a couple weeks when his book releases haha. I thought the side characters were again really strong, already loved Lena from Winter and her books, loved how they were there for each other and helped grow and become the fabulous ladies they are now. I thought Raine was absolutely adorable and her feistiness really grew and flourished. I loved seeing some of the others from the various Becca series (I had read Preston and Kian's story before this one, so it was cool to see this side of things ❤️). So I mentioned already that Carter took me awhile to fall for him, but he eventually grew on me! I loved how possessive he was. Surprising from these characters, especially Raine! That's why you gotta be on the lookout for the quiet ones guys/ladies, they might shock you hehe. Not my usual kink I fall in love with, but Becca does an amazing job with it, making me want more from these 2 haha.
OOOOOH and I was super happy and pleasantly surprised with the unexpected kink in this book. I loved this story of young love, heartache, intrigue, and SO MUCH ANGST!! I thought the plot was good, some of it was easy to spot but a couple twists were awesome and made for an exciting addition to this world Becca has beautifully created. So I love everything Becca Steele does and Trick Me Twice was no different! I think it did take me awhile to like the MMC in this one because he was such a jerk from the very beginning hahaha but he finally got the stick out of his butt and made it up to FMC.
